Catching Up May - July

So I know I've been horrible at keeping this blog updated, but hopefully I can get back on track. I thought I'd quickly update everyone on the last few months...

MAY -
This month Alexa weighed 15 pounds 2 1/2 ounces (25-50%), was 24" tall (5%), and had a head measurement of 45.8 (above 97th percentile). She had banannas for the first time this month and absolutely loved them. She would have nothing to do with peas. She loved being outside. She was able to sit on her own and would reach out a grab objects she wanted to play with. She liked making a buzzing sound with her lips and would drool everywhere!

At one of our favorite weekend spots - Pioneers Park. This is also a special place because this is where Paul proposed!

JUNE -
This month Alexa weighed 16 pounds 4 ounces. She learned to roll from her back to her tummy and loved splashing in the baby pool at home and at daycare. She started making a "clicking" sound with her tongue and thought this was really funny so she did it all the time.

She now loves to smile for the camera

What can I really say about this...

JULY -
This month Alexa weighed 16 pounds 15 ounces. She got her first tooth on her 8th month b-day (7/5/09), she was able to stand on her own, she could get from a sitting position on to her belly but not quite able to crawl (although she tried really hard). She could get all the way across the room by laying on her back and scooting herself along.

This was a pic taken on the 4th of July. Alexa was sick with "Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease" so we were confined to the house but all in all she was in a pretty good mood and the fireworks really didn't scare her too much

  2. She's gorgeous! Maybe we should introduce our firstborns? Joshua's head is in the 97th percentile for HUGE-NESS ... their children might be off the charts SMART :)
